Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 October 2026

1. Service provider

LAB 17 is provided by Łukasz Szymczuk BLACK TENT DEV, Azaliowa 16, 58-370 Boguszów-Gorce (sole proprietorship). Contact: contact@lab17.app.

2. What these terms cover

These terms set the rules for using LAB 17 during the free pilot and form an agreement between the service provider and the participant.

The pilot has not started and its date is not set. The app runs today on a single owner account and participant accounts do not exist yet. These terms will bind a participant once they create an account and accept them.

3. Pilot

The pilot is free and intended for a closed group of invited racers. LAB 17 has no open sign-up.

This is a test version. Features may change and the app may be unavailable at times.

4. The service

LAB 17 is a web app for analysing rides and races and for planning training. It includes:

  • activity charts and a route map,
  • selecting a stretch of a ride, seeing its stats and saving it as a named segment with a note,
  • building workouts from blocks and steps, a workout library and a calendar,
  • HRV, sleep and resting heart rate shown next to training data,
  • Automatic workout drafts and improvements when the user asks for them.

Features announced as planned or "Coming soon" are not part of the service until they are released.

LAB 17 is an independent service. Garmin is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for LAB 17.

5. Technical requirements

To use LAB 17 you need internet access, a current browser with JavaScript enabled and an email address.

6. Account

Only a person invited to the pilot can create an account. Participants keep their sign-in details safe and do not share their account with others.

Providing unlawful content and actions that disrupt LAB 17 are prohibited.

7. Data and consents

Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy, including what data we process, who can see it and who receives it.

Health data and the access of the owner and Dr Rafał Hebisz to an athlete's data require that athlete's separate, explicit consent. An athlete can withdraw consent at any time, as described in the policy.

8. Workouts and analysis

Workouts and analysis in LAB 17 are information, not medical advice. LAB 17 does not diagnose and does not replace a doctor. Participants decide on their own training and adapt it to their health and abilities.

An automatic draft or improvement may contain errors. The participant reviews it before saving.

9. Complaints

Comments and complaints about the service can be sent to contact@lab17.app.

10. Deleting an account

A participant can stop using LAB 17 at any time and ask for their account and data to be deleted by writing to contact@lab17.app. A request to delete the account ends the agreement.

11. Changes and the end of the pilot

We will tell participants by email about changes to these terms and about the end of the pilot. A participant who does not accept the changes can delete their account. The current version of these terms is always available at this address, with the last update date at the top of the page.

12. Contact

Please send questions about these terms to contact@lab17.app.
